Charles W. Aarup, age 62, late of Crown Point, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Devoted dad of Daniel (Tanja) Aarup, Megan Aarup, Lauren (Jonathan) Holloway, Jessica (Michael) Orr, JoElle (Robert) Head, and Jamie Gemmell. Proud Papa of Maximilian, Jace, Lewis, Nehemiah, Mycah, Abby, Victoria, Remaliah, Trevor, and Lea. Dear brother of Cindy (Chris) Vassell, Dawn (Randy) Anderson, Robin (Steve) Valiunas, and Janet (Leigh) DeYoung. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ruelene Aarup. Visitation Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30& Pleasant Springs Ln.)
