Charles "Chuck" R. Turngren

Charles “Chuck” R. Turngren, age 86, of Rockford, IL formerly of Lansing, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 21, 2022.  Beloved husband of Carole Turngren, nee Van Zuidam.  Loving father of Cathleen (Gordon) Ward, Timothy Turngren, Sharon (William) Heintz, and David Turngren.  Dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren (pre-deceased by one) and 30 great-grandchildren (pre-deceased by one).  Preceded in death by his parents the late Charles F. and Alice Turngren and his sister the late Cheryl (Ronald) Beck.  Chuck was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN. with services conducted by Rev.
