Charles Otto Dreixler Sr.

Charles Otto Dreixler Sr. , age 88, of Crete, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Catherine. Father of John (Julie) Dreixler, Karen (James) Hrones, Thomas (Kathie) Dreixler, Charles (Gina) Dreixler Jr., Sharon (Richard) Kiser, and Cheryl (Frank) Dickeson. Grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by sister Ann, grandson Jordan, and son-in law Richard. Charles dedicated over 40 years to his work as a master butcher and foreman in the meat packing industry. He was a devoted coach, manager, and enthusiastic supporter at countless games for his children and grandchildren. Above all, a proud United States Marine— Semper Fi . Charles will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation, Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of prayer service 7:00 p.m. at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel , 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL.
