Charles V. Milligan, age 93, of Manteno, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Milligan. Loving father of Beverly Milligan, David (Ruby) Milligan, Daniel (Angela) Milligan, and the late Michael Milligan. Cherished grandfather of Michelle (Tyler) Roach, Joshua Milligan, Sheena Milligan, and Jacob Milligan. Great-grandfather of Evee, Charlotte, Tyler, Michael, Sarah, and Lindsey. Kind uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Stella Milligan and his brothers and sisters Emery (late Mildred) Milligan, Elva (late Paul) Droit, Lucille (late Wright) Cotter, and Emerson (late Sharon) Milligan.

Charles was a hardworking and accomplished businessman whose determination and strong work ethic led him to own and manage a variety of successful business ventures throughout his life, from tire stores such as BFGoodrich to real estate. Charles proudly served his country as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he saw active combat. He carried the values of courage, discipline, and perseverance that he learned in his military service throughout the rest of his life. His legacy is one of service, leadership, and dedication to his loving family and will be dearly missed.
