Chuck Pals, age 73, of Crete, IL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Violet Pals (nee DeMick). Loving father of Timothy (Tina) Pals, Todd (Pam) Pals, Heidi (Samuel) Stevens, Jeff (Valarie) Pals, Polly (George) Peterson, John (Sue) Pals, and Amy (Clayton) Mulanax. Devoted grandfather of Mallory (Mark ) Natelborg, Lindsey (Matt) Mitchell, Andrew (Libby) Pals, and Blake Pals; Brittany (Ryan) Knapp, Brooke (Corey) Knudsen, and Mark Pals; Raquelle, Zachery and Caleb Stevens;Jakob and Gerrit Pals;Grace and Jane Peterson; Jack Pals; Oscar, Charles, Parker, Owen, and Elliot Mulanax and great-grandfather of Evelyn and Moses.Dear brother of Charlene (late Bill) Santefort. Visitation Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 3:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Ln) Dyer, IN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at Living Word Church (2248 - 186th St. Lansing, IL 60438) with Rev. Dave Prince officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Living Word Church. Chuck''s passions and influence included Pals Cartage, Eagle Express Lines, CP Ranching group and Living Word Church, but greater than these was his family and the greatest of all was advancing the Kingdom of God.
