Charles David Portis With great sadness we announce that Charles David Portis passed away August 27,2OO8. Chuck was born March 1, 1981 to Roosevelt and Joann Portis. Survivors are his 9-month-old daughter, Savannah Charlene Portis, the love of Chuck's life, Jessica Belcher of Chesterton, IN. Parents Roosevelt and Joann Portis of Sauk Village, brother Antwon (Amanda) Portis of Battle Creek, Ml. Sisters Catanya and Rochelle Portis of Chicago. Special niece and nephew, Auhna and Aiden of Battle Creek, Ml., several more nieces and nephews, maternal grandmother Betty Pingenot of Vinton, Iowa, aunts and uncles and lots of other people who loved him. Visitation September 2,2O08 from 3-5 PM and from 6-8 PM. at First Baptist Church, 22132 S. Torrence, Sauk Village. Funeral September 3, 2O08 at 11 AM at the same church.
