Christine P. Ooms, nee Hoekstra, age 93, of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Beloved wife of the late William J. “Bill” Ooms Sr. Loving mother of William J. (Joan) Ooms Jr., Caryl (late Peter) Lindemulder, and Kevin (Marilou) Ooms. Proud grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 10. Dear sister of the late Floretta (late Thomas) Krygsheld, late Janice (late Edward) Flame, late Gerald (late Edith) Hoekstra, and Dr. Ben (Judy) Hoekstra. Preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Clara Hoekstra.

Visitation Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service immediately following the visitation at Lynwood United Reformed Church 1990 E. Glenwood-Dyer Rd. Lynwood, IL, with Rev. Nick Alons officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery – Evergreen Park, IL.
