Christopher John O'Connor

Christopher John O’Connor, age 36, of Lynwood, IL and Dyer, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Devoted son of Terry & Nancy O’Connor. Dear brother of Bryan O’Connor. Cousin of Lisa (Michael) Gaidar, Nichole (Robert) LaRusso, Jimmy (Morgan) Stachyra, Steve, Bobby, Adam, and Tommy Donath. Nephew of Robert (Sallie) Stachyra and Marianne Stachyra.  Christopher is also survived by his girlfriend Nina and her daughter Nevaeh, and many other close family and friends. Preceded in death by his grandmother the late Helen Stachyra and his uncle the late Richard Stachyra.  Christopher was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to the D.A.R.E. America Program .
