Clara Louise Brooks, age 82, of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2024. Beloved wife of the late James “Terry” Brooks. Loving mother of Kimberly Blair, Kathryn Brooks, Colleen Brooks and Keith (Priscilla) Brooks. Cherished grandmother of Cody, Cory, Ashley, Camille and Isabella and great-grandmother of Dominic, Avery, Easton and Jett. Dear Sister of Gwendolyn (late Edward) Lileikis, Connie (Vurlyn) Doolittle and Kenneth (Yvonne) Melone. Clara will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois, 60475. Visitation to be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Heights – Kieran Parish, 724 W. 195th Street Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
