Clara S. Peters, nee Cholipski, age 91, of Crete, IL, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Peters. Loving mother of Lisa (John) Doorn and Gail (Glenn) Kubiak. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth, Thomas, Alex, Jeff, and Brett. Dear sister of the late Richard (Jean) Cholipski, late Matthew (Ida) Cholipski, and Thomas (Judy) Cholipski. Kind aunt of her special niece Sharon Wachowski. Preceded in death by her parents Zigmund and Elizabeth Cholipski.

Visitation Friday, October 5, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Funeral service Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with services conducted by Rev. Mark Prestriedge. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
