Clara M. Swets, nee Loughmiller, age 87, formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Henry Nelson Swets. Loving mother of Bev (Clarence) Tysse, Dan (Judy) Swets, Dave (Diane) Swets and Kathy (Jeff) Blake. Devoted grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 23. Dearest sister of Irene (late Bob) Snow and Norman (Joanne) Loughmiller. Visitation Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN with Rev. Herm Schutt officiating.
