Clarence Huisenga, age 83, of Beecher, IL formerly of South Holland, IL passed away, Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Pearl(nee Kruizenga). Loving father of Clarence(Karen) Huisenga, Pamela Huisenga, Glen(Janet) Huisenga, and Teri(Dale) Boomsma. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Dear brother of Sophie Schenkel, Gertrude Voss, Jean Huisenga, and Al(Marcella) Huisenga. Preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation, Friday, May 3, 2013 from 3:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs(Corner of Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. Funeral Service, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Lynwood United Reformed Church,1990 Glenwood-Dyer Rd.,Lynwood, IL, with services conducted by Rev. Keith Davis. Burial will be prior to the funeral service at Chapel Hill Gardens South, Worth, IL. In memory of Mr. Huisenga, memorial contributions may be given to Mid America Reformed Seminary, 229 Seminary Dr., Dyer, IN 46311.
