Claude H. Boomsma

Claude H. Boomsma, age 87, of Crete, IL, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019. Loving husband of Doris Boomsma, nee DeYoung. Devoted father of Scott (Nancy) Boomsma, Robert (Laura) Boomsma, and Cindy (late Paul) Paarlberg. Proud grandfather of six; great-grandfather of ten. Dear brother of Jack (Darlene) Boomsma, late Sylvia (late James) Drenth, late Jim (late Jane) Boomsma, and the late George (late Rika) Boomsma. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Henrietta Boomsma.

Memorial visitation Monday, August 5, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church 15924 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL, with Rev. Dr. Rich Grevengoed officiating. Private interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to First Reformed Church of South Holland.
