Corinne M. "C.J." Jones, nee Ladwein, age 86, late of Thornton, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 28, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Jones Jr. Devoted mother of Leslie (Manuela) Jones, Nancy (Matthew) McDonald, and the late Robert M. Jones III. Proud grandmother of Rosemary and Karin. Dearest sister of Rae (Jack) Dorsey, Jacqueline Ladwein, and the late Donald (late Louise) Ladwein. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Ladwein. Visitation Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Funeral service Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Thornton United Methodist Church (712 Chicago Rd. Thornton, IL 60476) with Rev. Norval Brown officiating.
