Cornelius Roeda, age 93, of Tinley Park, IL formerly of South Holland, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Jeneane Roeda, nee Vreeman. Loving father of the late Randall (Melissa) Roeda, Rebecca (Gary) Togtman, Rodney (Lauren) Roeda, and Robert (Kit) Roeda. Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Geraldine (late Ted Bandstra) (late Al Gelderloos), Shirley (late Jack) Van Bruggen, and the late Jack (Rachel) Roeda. Visitation Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln., Dyer, IN with services conducted by Dr. Joel Nederhood. Burial at Skyline Memorial Park – Monee, IL. Mr. Roeda was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired sign painter and founder of Roeda Signs, Inc.
