Craig R. Boonstra, Sr.

Craig R. Boonstra Sr., age 64, of Crown Point, IN, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 17, 2023.  Beloved husband of Terri L. Boonstra, nee Bruinius.  Loving father of Craig (Michelle) Boonstra Jr., Kelli Boonstra, and Kenny (Jessica) Boonstra.  Proud grandfather of Christopher Young, Christian Young, and Raul Otero.  Devoted son of Carole Boonstra Rawson and the late Kenneth Boonstra and son-in-law of Bernard “Butch” ( Barbara) Bruinius and the late Dorothy Bruinius. Dear brother of Rich (Debbie) Boonstra, Steve (Deanne) Boonstra, and Joyce (Dean) Lowrance. Cherished brother-in-law of Bernie (Karen) Bruinius, Glenn (Val) Bruinius, and Dawn (Scott) Gibson. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Craig was the current owner and operator of County Cement Construction Inc. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Visitation Friday, November 24, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Funeral service Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Point Christian Reformed Church 909 E. Greenwood Ave., Crown Point, IN, with Rev. Fred DeJong officiating.
