Cindy Pauley passed away suddenly on Friday June 19, 2026. Cindy is survived by her daughters Meredith Allen and Caitlin (Michael) Jedlicka; her grandchildren McKenzie, Jordan and Cooper Jedlicka and Michael and Avery Allen; her siblings Patricia (Ben) Damiani and Rick (Tami) Marco; her “favorite nephew” Matthew (Gianna) Marco and their children, Adam and Della, who affectionately called Cindy “Aunt Gigi”.

Cindy loved the Indiana Fever, bird watching, chasing away the squirrels and, more than anything, spending time with her six grandchildren. She spent countless hours watching softball, soccer, baseball, cheer and anything else the grandkids were playing. She enjoyed trips to St Louis to visit Caitlin and her family. Cindy had dear friends she saw as often as she could, often having lunch with fellow retirees. She retired on 2019 after 14 years working for the Village of Steger.

Cindy was proud to come from a large extended family often referring to herself in the number system, 1.1. The many Marco family reunions was something Cindy looked forward to every year and took pride in ensuring her dad got to it as often as possible.

Cindy will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, especially when it came to the grandkids. Cindy very much enjoyed spoiling all 6 often sending boxes from Amazon to St Louis if the kids even hinted at wanting something.

Cindy is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Ruth and Stanley Doll; her loving parents, Donna Marco and Richard Marco; her perfect granddaughter Lucy Belle and her feline companion, Duke.
