Dale A. Dekker

Dale A. Dekker, age 72, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Loving father of Melissa Kenney, Derek (Kali) Dekker, and Cary Dekker. Proud grandfather of Kirsten and Cameron. Devoted son of Irene and the late Arnold Dekker. Dear brother of the late Lou (Lori) Dekker, late Arnold Wayne “Butch” (late Halina) Dekker, and David (Brenda) Dekker. Kind uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dekker retired from AT&T and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 21. Dale loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln. Dyer, IN with Rev. Jim Hollendoner officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens—Schererville, IN.  Memorial contributions may be given to Munster Church ( munster.church ).
