Darla Ann Qualizza

Darla A. Qualizza, nee Davis, age 62, of St. John, IN, passed away peacefully in her husband’s arm’s Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Loving wife of Michael W. Qualizza. Devoted mother of Eric (Debra) Qualizza, Katie (Dustin) Brown, and Kristie Qualizza. Proud grandmother of Leander and Viola Qualizza, Dade, Kiera, Luka, and the late Kohen Brown. Cherished daughter of Williard Don and Frances Jean Davis; daughter in-law of the late Tony and Peggy Qualizza. Dearest sister of Donna (Raymond) Longawa, Debra (Mark) Pucalik, Diana (Clayton) Campbell, Denise (Richard) Rosinko, Steven (Sandra) Qualizza, Tony (Cynthia) Qualizza, Mark (Patricia) Qualizza, and the late Barry Don Davis; sister-in-law of the late Susan Sliwa, and Laura Sajdera.  Kind aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Darla was a beacon of love, she is leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and her faith. She was loved by her family, and many dear friends, and will be truly missed. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Traditions Health Hospice for providing great comfort and compassionate care to Darla and her family in their time of need.

Visitation with family and friends Friday, March 7, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN. Darla’s wishes were that her Mass and interment be held privately with her family.
