Darlene L. Louie, nee Svoboda, age 76, of Merrillville, IN passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. Beloved wife of Richard Louie for 53 years. Loving mother of Guy Louie, Russell(Tracy) Louie, and Natalie (Gary) Koleski. Devoted grandmother of Amanda, Nicole, Justin, Courtney, Taylor, Ben, and Gavin. Dear aunt, cousin and sister-in-law to many. Mrs. Louie was a member of the Lake County Historical Society and she enjoyed baking, gardening, cooking and bowling.
