David A. Bufano, age 64, late of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2018. Loving husband of Deborah Bufano, nee Walker. Devoted father of Gina (Anthony) Synakiewicz, and Jennifer Bufano. Proud grandfather of Madison and Luke. Dear brother of Steven (Maureen) Bufano and Louis (Adele) Bufano. Loving uncle of Hilary (John Barker) Mushier-Barker, Alex (Kaylen) Mushier, Kyle Doty, Haley Doty, Adam (Maria) Bufano and Louis Bufano Jr. and great-uncle of Aidan, Alena, Anthony, Vince, and Sonny. Preceded in death by his parents Louis Gene and Rose Marie Bufano.

Visitation Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayer service Friday, November 9, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN, for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery – Schererville, IN. David was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local #134.
