David P. Stewart

David P. Stewart, age 58, of Lake Village, IN passed away suddenly with his family by his side on Saturday, August 7, 2021.  Beloved husband of Sandra Stewart, nee Spellan.  Loving father of Amy (Eric) Dudeck, Kathleen Picicco, Tracy (Josh) Warriner, and Heather (Patrick) St. Dennis.  Proud grandfather of Lizzy, Cara, Josh, Nick, Lexi, Andrew, Patrick, Matthew, Austin, Penny, and Mia.   Devoted son of Rita Stewart.  Dear brother of Maria (late George) Foyer and the late Robert Stewart.  David also was loved by his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.

David was a retired insurance underwriter for Blue Cross Blue Shield.  He was the leader of the Adult Sunday School at Faith Bible Church in Steger, IL and was a former Pastor of Grace Bible Church on the Southside of Chicago.  David was also a contributing writer to Berean Searchlight Magazine of the Berean Bible Society.

Visitation and services will take place this Thursday and Friday at Faith Bible Church, 560 E. Sauk Trail in Steger as follows:

Thursday, August 12, 2021 visitation will be held at Faith Bible Church from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a funeral service at 7:00 P.M. conducted by Pastor Ricky Kurth.

Friday, August 13, 2021 visitation will be held at Faith Bible Church from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. with a funeral service at 4:00 P.M. conducted by Pastor Paul Balbach III.
