David E. Vines, age 78, of Crown Point, Indiana, formerly of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Janet Vines. Loving father of Norbert (Marlo) Jasinski, Darlene (Erik) Lewis, MaryJo (Thomas) Seehausen, Robert (Debbie) Jasinski, David (Angela) Vines Jr, Joseph (Michelle) Jasinski, Tony (Andrea) Vines, Lisa (Michael) Loomis, and Douglas (Michelle) Vines. Cherished grandfather of Shayne Kozinski, Miranda (Kyle) Terry, Ashlee Wathen, Zachory Jasinski, Halie Jasinski, Madison Jasinski, Dannilynn Jasinski Terri Gonzalez, Nicholas Stuebe, Jacob Stuebe, Vincent Stuebe, David E. Vines III, William Walter, Anthony Vines, Brandon Vines, Joseph Vines, Zachary Vines, Amanda Gentry, Glenn Vines, Stephanie Summers, Christopher Vines, Aaron Vines, Heather Vines and Brett Vines. Great grandfather of many and uncle to many as well. Dear brother of Glen (Judy) Vines and Ruth Jones. He was preceded in death by his sister Magdalena Drinnon and his three brothers Richard Vines, Edward Vines and William (Billy) Vines. David will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL.
