David A. Von Almen

David A. Von Almen, age 66, of Highland, IN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 24, 2021.  Beloved husband of Elaine Von Almen, nee Dyke.  Loving father of April (Bradley) Vander Meyden and Dean (Katherine) Von Almen.  Proud grandfather of Caden, Danica, Maeve, Decker, and Ada.  Brother of Gary (Sandra) Von Almen, Brian Von Almen, and stepbrother of Sharon Mathews.  Brother-in-law of Jim (Donna Vargo) Dyke, Melvin (Shirley) Dyke and Joe (Susan) Dyke. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Edith Von Almen and his stepmother Rose Von Almen.

Visitation Friday, December 31, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Munster Church, 214 Ridge Rd., Munster, IN, with Rev. Jim Hollendoner officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed from the Munster Church youtube.com link at: https://www.youtube.com/c/MunsterChurch . Burial will be at a later date at  Maplewood Cemetery – Lamont, MI. Memorial contributions may be given to Munster Church Legacy Fund, 214 Ridge Rd. Munster, IN 46321.
