Delores Grace Georgi

Delores Grace Georgi nee Haut, age 96, of Crown Point, Indiana, formerly of Crete, Illinois passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Vincent (JJ) Georgi. Loving mother of Dominic (Linda) Georgi and Jimmy (Lynda) Georgi. Cherished grandmother of Brent (Joyce) Georgi, Melissa (Jamie) Cosgrove, Tim Georgi and Michael Georgi and great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Darlene (late Donnie) McDaniel and preceded in death by her siblings Donald (Francis) Haut, Viola (Herman) McCloud, Lorraine (Melvin) Robinson, Elsie (Frederick) Farrell, Peggy (Reno) Zenere, Benjamin Haut, Gerald (Marty) Haut and Marilyn Haut. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Delores was an accomplished painter, photographer and gardener. She enjoyed bingo, Wii bowling and card games. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Monday, February 16, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois 60475.
