Denise J. Furlan

Denise J. Furlan, nee Fitzgerald, age 79, of Wanatah, IN, formerly of Monee, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 21, 2022.  Loving wife of Frank Furlan.  Devoted mother of Frank Furlan II, Deanne Furlan, and Karen Furlan.  Proud grandmother of Frankie Furlan III, Michelle (Nick) Carlson, and Jason Furlan; great-grandmother of Isabelle Carlson.  Dearest sister of the late Edward (Dorothy) Fitzgerald, Mary Ellen (late Raymond) Nudi, and Patricia Fitzgerald.  Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ann Fitzgerald.

Visitation Monday, September 26, 2022 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Prayer service Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Deacon Gary Blue officiating.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
