Denise J. Maurello, nee Ridder, age 52, of Munster, IN, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Loving wife and best friend of William A. Maurello. Selfless mom of Hannah and Anthony Maurello. Beloved daughter of Elaine (Kenneth) Van Dellen and the late Howard Ridder Sr. Caring sister of Karen Harkema, Howard (Brenda) Ridder Jr., and Dorene (Michael) Sroczynski. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Spring Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery – Schererville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian School or Lansing Christian School.
