Denise Marie Van Der Griend, age 74, of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully on Saturday March 9, 2024. Beloved wife of Kim Lee Van Der Griend. Loving mother to Brian Niedert, Jeremy Niedert and Matthew Vand Der Griend. Cherished grandmother to Tiffani (Travis) Jabaay, and Justin Van Der Griend and great-grandmother to Addison Jabaay and Hudson Jabaay. Dear sister to Karlene Conran and Michael Conran. Denise was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
