Dennis W. Rohe

Dennis W. Rohe, age 73, of St. John, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022.  Beloved husband of Mary Rohe, nee McDonald.  Loving father of Sean (Marie Manning) Rohe, Glenn (Tricia) Rohe, and the late Patrick “P.J.” Rohe.  Proud grandpa of Alyssa, Bryce, and Mason.  Dear brother of Mary Lou (David) Nichols, Karl (Sue) Rohe, Jeanne (late Bob) Diehl, John (Ginny) Rohe, Maria (Pete Rush) Liakopoulos. Kind uncle of numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents William and Frances Rohe.

Dennis was an avid golfer and was a retired Carpenter Supervisor for the C.T.A. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Visitation Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service to be held at 4:00 p.m.  Prayer service, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, to St. Joseph Catholic Church 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN, for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass, with Rev. Peter Muha officiating.  Memorial donations may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children ( https://www.shrinerschildrens.org )
