Desmond J. Konadu, age 32, late of Joliet, IL. Beloved husband of Eddreinna Konadu, nee Tillman. Devoted father of Marquis and Desiree.
Desmond was born in Chicago, IL, on April 27, 1984 to Desmond Joe Konadu and Renetta Dancy. Desmond attended Brook Elementary School, and graduated from Thornton High School. After graduation, he took some courses at Olive Harvey College. He volunteered at Sickle Cell Bright Horizon Summer Camp as a student, and later as a mentor. Desmond accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Bethel Temple Church. Dez loved sports, especially talking sports with Uncle Dave and Auntie Karen. He loved when family gathered at Auntie Pam’s with his wife Eddreinna and family, these gatherings were especially awesome.
He leaves to cherish his wife Eddreinna Konadu, nee Tillman. Son Marquis and daughter Desiree. Brothers & sisters: Kwaku, Fefe, NaNa, Bill, Will and Josephine and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Joreese will be missed, but not forgotten. This was a fierce person, loved and admired for a beautiful kool-aid smile. He was an excellent son, and family man, who loved spending quality time with his family.
Desmond made his transition Wednesday, November 23, 2016, to be with his Lord and Savior.
Memorial visitation Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Watkins officiating.
