Diane H. Burgess, nee Hunnicutt, age 72, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Burgess. Dear friend of Ronald Greve. Loving sister of Gail (Jerry) Sullivan, Kevin (Wendy) Hunnicutt, and Karen (Shawn Peterson) Hunnicutt. Loving daughter of the late Charles Kenneth and late Helen D. Hunnicutt. Cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Diane will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 227 Monee Rd., Park Forest, IL 60466. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery – Steger, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS Chicago, 1933 N Marcey St. Chicago, IL 60614.
