Dolores E. Mccoy

Dolores Estelle McCoy, of Crete, IL passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 19, 2021 at Franciscan Hospital in Dyer, IN.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth R. McCoy Sr.  Loving mother of Kenneth (Mary) McCoy Jr., William (June) McCoy, Therese (late Rich) Goveia, Grace (Martin) Muller, Mary (Bruce) Johnson, and John (Jackie) McCoy.  Cherished grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 14.  Fond sister of 4.  Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Louise Smith.

Dolores retired from her position as mail clerk at the Palmer House to devote her life as a stay-at-home mom to raise her 6 wonderful children.  She enjoyed crocheting, especially making baby blankets for newborns.
