Donald Conner Jr., 51, of Momence, died Thursday (Oct. 13, 2011) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Momence Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. David Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Momence Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. Mr. Conner was a truck driver. He was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Chicago Heights, the son of Donald and Billie Slack Conner. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lowell, Ind. Surviving are his wife, the former Debra Watkins, of Momence, whom he married June 30, 1989, in Kankakee; two sons, Nathaniel Conner and Joshua Conner; two stepsons, Jeff and Steven Markel; grandchildren, Brittanee, Macee, Austin, Chloe and Kelsey; his parents; one sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and David Goodman; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Penny Conner; three nephews, one niece, one great-niece and one great-nephew.
