Donald K. Spender

Donald K. Spender, age 63, of Dyer, IN, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Loving husband of Cynthia Spender, nee Verhagen.  Devoted father of Michael (Nicole) Spender, Melissa (Karl) Marx, and Marc (Lauren) Spender.  Cherished grandfather of Stella, Camreigh, Anna, Klara, and Dean. Dear brother of Larry (Sandi) Spender and Linda (Jerry) Tessarolo.  Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Carolyn Spender. Don was the owner of Don Spender Lawn Care. He was an active and committed member of the Illiana Cadet Council for many years.  He was loved by many and will be missed.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 P.M. at Faith Church, 100 81st Ave., Dyer, IN with Rev. Bob Bouwer officiating.  Interment will be private.
