Donald R. Sytsma, age 87, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. Loving Father of Donna (Late Tim) Rietveld. Grandfather of Steven Vogt, Jennifer & Timothy Lynch. Great Grandfather of Riley & Ellie Vogt, Gwen Tanas and Jennifer Jones. He was preceded in death by his two wives Arlene and Josephine Sytsma, his Daughter Susan Ann Sytsma and his Parents Thomas and Julia Sytsma. Funeral services for Donald will be held on Wednesday Dec. 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln. Dyer, IN. Services are conducted by Rev. Andy Nearpass. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Smits Funeral Home. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.
