Donald L. Toigo, age 68, of Chicago Heights, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Beloved husband of Yolanda Toigo, nee Gronowski. Loving father of Wendy Toigo and the late Patrick Toigo and step-father of Derek (Jamie) Peddycord and Janelle (Bernard) Bagley. Grandfather of 2 granddaughters. Dear brother of Marilyn (Donald) Moore, Gerald (Chris) Toigo, and Cindy (Robert) Phelps. Cherished cousin of Barbara (late Butch) Reidstra and uncle, nephew, and cousin to many. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Jennie Toigo. Mr. Toigo was a graduate of Fenger High School and Roosevelt University in Chicago. He was a former V.P. of Sales & Marketing for Vacudyne in Chicago Heights and the owner of Toigo Painting and Decorating. Don had a great love for his boat "Capsule" and was a past Commodore of the Southern Shore Yacht Club and Hammond Yacht Club. Visitation Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 5:30 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL 60473.
