Donna Mae Deitche

Donna Mae Deitche, nee Maslanka, age 81, of South Holland, IL passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023.  Loving mother of Deborah (David) Tutor, Scott (Amy) Deitche, and Karen (Jeff) Caldwell.  Dear grandmother of David, Aaron, Drew, Erica, Amanda, Amber, Abbey, Madeline, Nicky, and Miranda and great-grandmother of Desmond, Braden, Alanna, Adelyn, and Aspen.  Preceded in death by her husband, William Deitche; her parents, Zigmund and Stella (nee Prykowski) Maslanka; and her two brothers, Patrick Maslanka and Clifford Maslanka.  Donna retired from Walgreens in South Holland. She was loved by many and will be missed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish, 900 E. 154th St., South Holland, IL.  Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
