Donna Tello

Donna Lee Tello was born February 20, 1947 to her loving parents Donald and Ann Whitmer. She was born and raised in Chicago and later moved to Chicago Heights. Donna graduated from Bloom High School in 1965.

Donna’s life’s passion was being a mother to her children. She was also an avid animal lover, for some time she rescued animals and nursed them back to health. She had a love for arts and crafts, creating beautiful pieces of stained glass, her love for music was like no other, even in her last days she loved to listen and dance to her favorite songs. Donna was a friend to everyone she crossed paths with, she was truly a social butterfly and a kind soul.

Donna leaves behind her sister, 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Donna passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on May 7, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her loving companion of many years Donald Flaig.
