Dorothy M. Barnes nee Barratt, age 86, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017. Beloved wife of John Robert Barnes. Dear mother of John, Jean Parsons, William (Debra), Robin Zinkhon and the late Patrick Barnes. Cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial Gathering Sunday, September 3, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Sauk Village Bible Church 2165 223rd St, Sauk Village, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois. Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL.
