Dorothy Eierman

Dorothy Eierman, age 94, of Dyer, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  Loving wife of 56 years to the late Charles Eierman.  Devoted mother of Chuck (Alberta) Eierman, late John (Sandi) Eierman, late Bob (Nancy) Eierman, and the late Richard Eierman.  Proud grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 23; great-great-grandmother of 6.  Lovingly raised by Alonzo and Elizabeth Burk, nee Matthews.  Dearest sister of the late Cecil Cloe and late Maxine Morgan.  Dear aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorial visitation Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. –  3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.

Dorothy worked in Customer Service at Jewel for several years.  She loved going to the casino, playing Yahtzee and playing Canasta.  The thing that she cherished most was spending time with her family, friends, and caregiver, Star Richardson.  She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
