Dorothy M. Lavelle

Dorothy M. Lavelle, nee Eisner, age 92, of Steger formerly of Roseland, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, February 27, 2023.  Loving wife of the late Thomas F. Lavelle.  Sweetest mother of Michael (Varina) Lavelle, Timothy Lavelle, Brian (Ana Ruth) Lavelle and the late Terrence P. Lavelle.  Cherished grandma of Kristine, Ashlee (Mike) Skubiscz, Timothy (Miranda) Lavelle, Catie (Kevin) VanDamme, Brandi (Joe) Wallace, Patrick, Kayla (Joe) Silva, Jacob, Jaydon and Mitchell; great-grandma of Tommy, Emilee, Kinlee, Emmitt, Eli, Kasiya, Jazlyn, and Thomas.  Dearest sister of Eleanore (late Gus Wojtas and late Jack Laper), and the late Fred (late June) Eisner.  Preceded in death by her parents Alex and Teresa Eisner.  Dorothy will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation Friday, March 3, 2023 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayer service Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. from Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel , 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL, 60475 - James E. Janusz Director.  Funeral Mass Saturday, March 4, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Liborius Catholic Church, 71 W. 35 ^th St, Steger, IL 60475.  Interment Assumption Cemetery - Glenwood, IL.
