Dorothy Pearl Mead, age 82 of Steger, IL passed away peacefully July 5, 2016. Beloved wife of Edward Mead. Loving mother of Bruce Mead, Joel Mead and Jane Mead. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dear sister of Hassie Derks, Mattie Kellner, Rebanell Piat, Oliver Northcutt and Marcus Northcutt. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; Ance Gusta Mitchel-Northcutt and brothers; Clark, Richard, Millard and Willard. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
