Dorothy A Rundin

Dorothy A. Rundin, 93 of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born on September 22, 1922 to Stephen & Elizabeth Milen. She married the love of her life, Robert R. Rundin in 1955. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2015. She was a loving and devoted mother to Robert (Bobby) who passed on May 12, 2011. Dorothy is survived by her siblings Eleanor Heitmann, Jeannie Mercier, Ron Milen, and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, husband, and son, Dorothy was preceded in death by her dear brothers Hank, Larry and Eddie. Dot and Bob were dear to so many people and active in numerous clubs including the Elks and American Legion. Those who knew and loved them, know that they are once again together, dancing and sharing their wit and humor as they did during their 60 years together. Their "Forever and Ever" has officially begun. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at Smits Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St.(Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL.
