Dorothy L. Skalka, nee Wasylik, age 90, late of Hollywood, FL formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully November 19, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Skalka Sr. Devoted mother of Frank J. Skalka Jr., Susan (Bill) Tomasek, and Christine Skalka. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Zac) Taylor. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mildred Wasylik. Visitation Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home James E. Janusz Director 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL 60473 with Rev. Harold Wahl officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery - Calumet City, IL.
