Dorothy June Van Mynen

Dorothy June Van Mynen, nee Bruegmann, age 95, of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Van Mynen. Loving mother of Norma Allen and Warren (Christine) Van Mynen.  Cherished grandmother of Nathan (Jennifer) Allen, Christopher (Julie Przybyla) Allen, David Allen, Renee (Jason) Hoffman, Dawn Van Mynen, Jeffrey (Corrie) Van Mynen, and Kayla Van Mynen and great-grandmother of Cody and Heather Allen, Alexander Allen, Bodhi Hoffman, Adam and Archie Van Mynen, and Noelle Van Mynen. Dear brother of the late Dale (Gayle) Bruegmann. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Lucille Bruegmann.  Dorothy was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. directly at St Paul Lutheran Church, 508 Chicago Rd. Thornton, IL, with Rev. Duane Fluechtling officiating.  Interment Homewood Memorial Gardens – Homewood, IL.
