Eddie F. Stipanich

Eddie F. Stipanich, age 89, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Beloved husband of Carol Stipanich, nee Barron. Devoted father of the late Edward “Chipper” (Gayle) Stipanich, Tommy Stipanich, and Sandra Gawlinski. Proud grandfather of Jacob, Samantha, Holly and Kassandra. Dear brother of Jenny (Andy) Muszynski, Joanne Kompare, the late Sylvia (late Robert) Komar, late Virginia (late Tom) McHugh and the late Michael Stipanich. Special uncle to many and loved by all. Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Zorka Stipanich. Memorial visitation Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Mr. Stipanich was retired from Verson Allsteel Press and was a decorated United States Army Veteran.  He is famed for his veal cutlets and raviolis.
