Edith Hoekstra, nee Schuringa, age 87, of South Holland, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Hoekstra. Devoted mother of Deborah (Todd) Kelderhouse, late David Hoekstra and the late Beverly Cooper. Proud grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Willie (late Lloyd) DeBok and the late Henry (Winifred) Schuringa. Preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Dora Schuringa. Visitation Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
