Edna E. Nykaza

Edna E. Nykaza nee Zelinski, age 90, of Steger, IL passed away October 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Nykaza. Loving mother of Donna (Samuel) Nykaza-Jones, Steven, John (Anna), and Sharon (Michael) Nykaza-Slawinski. Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Emily, Alison and Mikey. She was preceded in death by her 6 brothers. Edna was co-founder of Rays Quality Greenhouse, member of the St. Joseph’s Rosary Ladies Sodality, the Polish Falcons and the Cook County Farm Bureau. Edna always enjoyed a good laugh and sharing her joy with others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL). Funeral Service Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment Calvary Cemetery Steger, IL.
