Loving father of Gloria (Robert) Cheever, and the late Roger (Carol) Buss. Proud grandfather of David (Leann) Buss, Steven (Anna) Buss, Roger D. (Victoria) Buss, Angela Buss, Bryan Cheever, Tara Cheever, and Erin (Jonas) Piibor; Great-grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Mae Meter, and preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation Monday, October 28, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery - Flossmoor, IL. Mr. Buss was an U.S. Army W.W. II Veteran and was a retired employee of the Whiting Corp.
