Ed is survived by his wife: Eileen Hofstra nee Brouwer; three daughters: Carol (Albert A.) Bult of The Colony, TX, Joanne Hofstra of Palos Heights, IL and Diane Hofstra of Westmont, IL; One son: Edward J. (Sandra) Hofstra of Elmhurst, IL; 7 Grandchildren: Timothy (Katayoun Mozafari) Bult, Kelly Bult, Joshua Bult, Lisa Hofstra, Melinda (fianc Chris Slinkman) Hofstra, Edward D. Hofstra and Alison Bult; One brother: Richard (Janet) Hofstra; Uncle of several nieces and nephews; Preceded in death by a brother: late John P. (Louise) Hofstra and one sister: late Winifred (John) Evers. Mr. Hofstra was a charter member of Cottage Grove Christian Reformed Church where he had served as an elder for many years.
